We recognize that there are many ways to give to Lutheran Church of Our Savior, and we give thanks for the abundant gifts shared among us—the time, talent, and compassion poured into the ministries of our church and the wider community. As Scripture reminds us, “We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us” (Romans 12:6), and together these gifts enable us to embody Christ’s presence in the world.
At the same time, financial stewardship is a vital expression of faith in the 21st century. Our giving is not a transaction but an act of gratitude—an offering in joyful response to what God has already done and continues to do among us. As Paul writes, “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
The funds given to LCOS directly support ministries that share God’s love in tangible ways. One such ministry is our Paper Pantry, which serves more than 150 individuals and families each month with essential items not covered by government assistance—such as laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products, and toothbrushes. This ministry is entirely self-funded, and we depend on the generosity of our members and friends to sustain it.
We invite you to prayerfully consider making a financial gift to support this and other ministries of LCOS, trusting that every offering—large or small—is a reflection of God’s abundant grace working through us for the sake of the world.
